New Investigator Publication Award
The Australasian Chronobiology Society New Investigator Publication Award recognises the exceptional contributions of our Early-Mid Career researchers to the field including advances in basic chronobiology, clinical applications of biological rhythms research, and applications of chronobiology in industry and occupational settings. Individuals are eligible to apply for the award if they are either currently completing their PhD, or are within 10 years of receiving their PhD (accounting for career disruptions), and be a current member of the Australasian Chronobiology Society. The publication being submitted must have been accepted or published between the start of the previous calendar year, and the deadline for applications. Papers must be accepted, in-press, or published and cannot only be posted on a pre-print server.
2026 New Investigator Publication Award Applications
Applications for the inaugural 2026 round of the New Investigator Publication Award are now open, with applications closing on July 24th. Applicants who are eligible may submit publications accepted or published after the 1st of January 2025. Applicants are asked to submit the publication details, along with brief details about their contributions to the work (100 word), the key findings and their novelty (200 words), and the impact/implications of the work (200 words). The winner will receive a cash prize, complimentary registration for the 2026 meeting, and an invitation to present at the 2026 meeting on either the work included in the winning publication, or another topic of their choosing.
